What is holistic nutrition and wellness?
 Holistic is all encompassing and involves the body, mind and spirit. Holistic nutrition's goal is to encourage balance with all aspects of the individual and individual's life including nutrition, micronutrients, activity, stress, rest and relaxation. The body is a complete and complex entity with inter-mingling systems and in order to operate well, all systems, organs and cells must work together.  Unfortunately, various factors in our lives cause us to become imbalanced and so the aim is to address these signs before illness occurs.  Often an improvement in one's health will begin with looking at how well one is digesting their food and then make the appropriate adjustments.  The link between good digestion and good health is well established, but the path towards what is individually appropriate can become clouded by chaos and generalized information.   I am convinced that there is a much simpler and less confusing path.   


Wellness
is the process whereby we evolve and become actively aware of ourselves and take more responsibility for the role we have in living a healthy and prosperous, and therefore successful, existence.  

I understand that we are all unique biochemically and so you can expect that I will encourage real foods that are prepared appropriately for you.  Understanding what you enjoy at a basic level is important for your health and happiness and it also helps me to make suggestions.  Helping you to become more in touch with your body is my passion.   You should know that you are an amazing, complex, fluctuating and dynamic individual and you are worthy of good health and happiness.    



I am here to assist you in finding your healthy balance.  I can help with:
